another amazing creation Archana. I wish I could see them in person (I dont think I would have eaten them, bcos they are very very beautiful. cutting them would be a disaster :D ).
your fresh fruit looks even fresher with this fabulous "basket"! Did you use dairy or non-dairy whipped cream? When I lived in Asia, I was so use to the taste of non-dairy cream taste... in here, I see many home bakers tend to use dairy cream more. I think you've provided a link in your post (or I'm wrong?), but when I clicked on "here", nothing comes up.
Not fair..posting all these beautiful cakes.want a piece, just one small teeny weeny piece.looks delicious and thanks for sharing the weaving technique.
Wow! Beautiful. I liked that piece of cloth you displayed the cake in. Saree? Thanks for the link to basket weaving technique. I have always wondered how you do it. Now those pictures make sense. :)

KA Oh, sure, sure… Thank you. I think it was just plain vanilla butter cream with a tinge of lemon and orange flavors (just enough to give a feeling of freshness). Basket weave requires sturdy icing, so I was left without much choice.
